I sell homes for 4.4% commission because in Wake & Johnston counties. In these areas it is common for a Buyers Agent to receive 2.4% commission on the final sales price of a home*. What that means is that on the sale of your home I would then receive 2.0% as the Sellers Agent. Since many Buyers Agents receive 2.4% on most sales, there is no less incentive for a Buyers Agent to show your home with a reduced rate commission then there is for them to show a home with a 6 or 7% commission!
